Refunds

At Starwhim Press, we take pride in the quality of our children’s books. Please read this policy carefully before completing a purchase.

Our return and refund policy is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of delivery. After this period, we are unable to offer a refund, exchange, or store credit under any circumstances.

By completing a purchase on our website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy.


Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

• The item must be unused, unread, and in the same condition as received
• The item must be returned in its original packaging
• Proof of purchase must be provided
• The return request must be initiated within 30 days of delivery

Any item that fails to meet these conditions will be rejected and returned to the customer at their expense.


Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Items

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange:

• Gift cards
• Downloadable or digital products
• Personalized or custom printed items
• Items purchased at a discounted or promotional price
• Any book showing signs of use, wear, marking, bending, or damage after delivery

We reserve the sole right to determine the condition of returned items.


Partial Refunds

In rare cases, partial refunds may be issued at our discretion for:

• Books returned with minor cosmetic damage not caused by Starwhim Press
• Items returned without original packaging
• Items returned close to or after the 30-day period

No refunds will be issued for items that show clear signs of use.


Refund Process

Once a returned item is received and inspected, you will be notified by email regarding approval or rejection.

If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing times vary depending on your bank or payment provider and are outside our control.

Starwhim Press is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, or payment processors.


Late or Missing Refunds

If a refund has been approved but not yet received, please:

  1. Check your bank account
  2. Contact your card issuer
  3. Contact your bank

Exchanges

We only replace items that arrive defective or damaged due to our error.

Exchange requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence. Approved exchanges will be for the same title only.

We do not offer exchanges for preference changes, incorrect selections, or buyer remorse.


Gifts

If an item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to the recipient, any approved return will be issued as store credit only.

If the item was not marked as a gift, any approved refund will be issued to the original purchaser.


Return Shipping

Customers are fully responsible for return shipping costs.

• Shipping fees are non-refundable
• Return shipping costs may be deducted from approved refunds
• We recommend using a trackable shipping service

Starwhim Press is not liable for lost or damaged return shipments.


Limitation of Liability

Starwhim Press shall not be held liable for:

• Printing variations inherent in print-on-demand products
• Minor color differences due to screen or print settings
• Shipping delays caused by carriers or customs
• Damage occurring after delivery

Our maximum liability in any case is strictly limited to the original purchase price of the product.
